What You Need To Know About Healing Crystals Hawaii

By Jose Murray

Crystal healing is another option to medical treatment that applies stones and crystals like quartz to treat and prevent diseases. It is a pseudoscientific approach to treatment and according to those who have tried it out, the curing powers of this stones are truly evident even though this method has no scientific proof on how it works. Healing crystals Hawaii is, therefore, quite popular as it helps one heal through exuding positive energy.

On one hand, the crystal healing practitioners may place the chosen crystal on certain regions of the body. This is done in relation to chakras. On the other hand, the practitioner may place these stones all over the body of the client claiming to engulf them with energy that will take away the disease.

The crystal practitioner in Hawaii is expected to select the stones for the process based on their color and their metaphysical features and places them on various parts of the body. These selection methods also depend on the basic rules on chakras, energy grids and grounding.

Also, the concept of chakras cannot be proven through scientific research and the various terms used such as energy grids, grounding are simply used to convince individuals on credibility and importance of this treatment. For instance, the term energy is usually a scientific word which refers to something which can be measured, but this is usually different from concepts of crystal practitioners.

There are a number of cultures that practice this form of treatment and that began years ago. For instance, Hopi Native Americans from Arizona, Hawaiian Islanders and the Chinese who use Jade crystals.

As stated earlier, no scientific research supports how crystal treatment works and whether it has any effects. Due to it being pseudoscience, any past successes may only be attributed to the placebo effect; which refers to the feeling produced by a placebo which in this case is a harmless procedure prescribed for the psychological benefit to the patient other than the physiological impact.

Critics of this form of healing suggest that it only works due to a number of reasons. First, due to cognitive bias whereby to those who believe in this kind of cure, they hold on to the belief that it works and, therefore, receive the results they hope for. For example, according to a research carried out to prove if the crystals really work to cure illnesses, patients were tested using real crystals and stones and both categories of groups said that they experienced the same effect. Whereby, the stones also produce the same placebo effect.

These stones may also be used on animals in treatment and prevention of common pet diseases. However, veterinary should be consulted first as this is also not scientifically approved as well. It has been generally observed that in most cases people opt to go for crystal method of healing for treatment of diseases and ignore more scientific methods that are more effective. This is dangerous as it may lead to death or adversely affect your health.
