Find A Perfect Organic Granola Recipe

By James Reynolds

Every breakfast must be nutritious and flavorful, especially when it is prepared for children. Even you can buy an extensive variety of oats, tasty, popular and nutritious at some point, there is too much sugar in it, and you need to control what you are eating. Along these lines, here are a couple of propositions, to show you how easy it is to make a perfect organic granola recipe.

Organic, whole rolled oats are usually used in most recipes. It is possible to find gluten-free oats today, but it is also nice to use quinoa flakes instead. Whatever you decide to use, it will be the base for your granola. Other ingredients are up to your particular choice, but here are some of really successful combinations you will certainly be more than satisfied with.

As it was said before, good old fashioned oats will be the base. Every single recipe below contains two cups of organic raw oats, and approximately two cups of all other ingredients put together. You can add more or less spices, according to your taste, but you should always include a little bit of salt in your mixture. This will make it all especially yummy.

Tasty walnut granola contains 1/2 measure of walnuts, green pumpkin seeds and slashed dried organic fruits each. Include two substantial spoons of natural maple syrup, one spoon organic coconut oil, and a little spoon of ground ginger and cinnamon. Mix it all together and put in the oven for 25 minutes, mixing once in a while, until all get beautifully brown.

Use large enough pan and line it with baking paper or silicone baking sheets. You can use your favorite dried fruits, and the best combinations make cranberries and whole dried cherries. Cooled granola can be kept in refrigerator for up to two weeks, or several days at room temperature, if it is in some air-tight container, but you will probably finish this much earlier.

Another recipe contains pistachios, almonds and sunflower seeds, one small cup each, a spoon of honey, coconut oil and maple syrup, with an addition of cinnamon and vanilla extract, but you should remember what was said about salt. This particular granola is really nice, and can be used in many different ways, mixed in different creams or ice-cream.

1/2 measures of peanuts, almonds and cherries, dried and sliced, chopped or used whole, with generous quantity of peanut butter, some olive oil and maple syrup or your favorite sort of honey, make really irresistible combination. With chewy, raw oats and your favorite spices, this particular combination can be, once cooled, enriched with chocolate chips or cocoa nibs.

And here is another, slightly different idea. You may simply combine oats, chopped nuts of your choice, maple syrup or honey, cinnamon, ground ginger, unrefined coconut oil and organic raw seeds, pumpkin and sunflower, with chopped dried fruits, and bake it all together for ten to twelve minutes. Add coconut chips, stir and bake for another ten minutes. Cool down and add freeze dried strawberries. Get ready for ultimate gourmet experience. Enjoy.
